Adrian and I return with a Road Warrior rip-off that
really doesn’t try very hard to hide its swipes. Shifting the focus of the
post-apocalypse survivors from fuel to good old H2O is the biggest change if
you put aside the obvious budget differences. But with characters named Alien
and Trash you just know that things are going to be interesting! The film’s
fast and furious car action scenes are discussed as well as western influences
that go beyond merely filming in the same Spanish locations that hundreds of spaghetti
westerns were made. This one is a lot of fun!
