Wild, Wild Podcast - PAGANINI HORROR (1989)

Known as the Devil's violinist, Paganini was so evil that he used something really unconventional to string his violin, and it wasn't spaghetti. How can a late-eighties all girl rock band with a love of Bon Jovi hope to stand up against this most diabolical of musicians, whilst trying to shoot a video clip that could be better than Michael Jackson's Thriller?

In this episode, Adrian and Rod finally reach the end of the Donald Pleasence road, and ponder just what Paganini Horror could have been had Luigi Cozzi, the patron saint of Wild, Wild Podcast, been given a decent budget.

This season is dedicated to that great quiet man of British cinema, Donald Pleasence, who spent a great deal of time in the 1980s in Italy. We would love to hear from you about your favorite Donald Pleasence films from this period, or if you have ever had to play the guitar whilst wearing a painfully tight spandex catsuit.

Wild, Wild Podcast - PHANTOM OF DEATH (1988)

Have you been feeling tired and listless lately? Has your hair started falling out? Have you found yourself befriending shaggy old dogs in the park and taking them home? Are you feeling off balance? Then maybe you are suffering from 'Phantom of Death' syndrome, a rare disease which causes accelerated aging, psychosis and an increased desire to taunt policemen. Listening to this episode of Wild, Wild Podcast could be the only thing that will save you!

This episode also features some exclusive interviews! First up is that great stuntman Ottaviano Dell'Acqua filling us in on Miles O'Keefe, followed by Luigi Cozzi, who reveals how Donald Pleasence coped whilst having to work with a volatile Klaus Kinski on the set of Nosferatu in Venice (1990).

We would love to hear from you about your favorite Donald Pleasence films from this period, or if you have ever screamed expletives at the top of your voice in a busy Italian thoroughfare.

Wild, Wild Podcast - SPECTERS (1987)

Archaeology is a dangerous business, as we discover the hard way in this latest episode where we are taken deep into the catacombs underneath Rome. Donald Pleasence's Professor Lasky leads a well-funded but under-staffed dig to find a two-thousand-year-old tomb which may or may not be evil. It is (of course) evil, and something nebulous is unleashed with the power to do whatever the special effects budget will allow. How can it be stopped?
