RIP - Christopher Lee (1922- 2015)

Although we have been expecting his passing for a long time it is still quite sad to say goodbye to such a towering cinema presence. He was all the things listed above and much more. We are better for having had you around to entertain us.

The man was a cult/genre cinema GOD.

My first memory of ANY horror film was seeing 1958's "Horror of Dracula" on TV sometime in the late '60s... That incredible ending absolutely blew my 7-year old mind! Made me a fan for life.

Sir Christopher Lee was an amazing artist whose work -- fortunately for us -- is truly immortal.

Horror of Dracula was the first thing I saw him in too. He was the last horror legend we had left. It's a good thing he was in so many fantastic films and EC covered many.

I think the first thing I saw him in was either DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE or THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN. Firm memories of this are lost to the mists of time.
