I can't remember how I got my hands on these over-sized comic treasuries when I was a lad but I do remember reading them until they came apart. They were so much a part of those Christmas seasons I still get a warm rush of joy thinking about how exciting it was to curl up in bed and anticipate the 25th. Those were such simple, fun times.

If they'd been around back in the day, those noxious talking heads on Fox News would've mercilessly slammed Marvel for using "Holiday" instead of "Christmas" on the covers... How times have changed!
You are correct, sir! Anything to keep the hate rolling and the dollars flowing.
Back in the day "Holiday" meant Christmas when used during the December month. All of the comic books that were Holiday specials also had the word "Christmas" or "Yuletide" on the cover. They did not use the word "holiday" to be politically correct. Today the word holiday is used very carefully and with an agenda in mind. It would be nice to go back to the usage that was the Marvel and DC way.
